The continent of Ia, the Kingdom of Autumn. Dungeons that suddenly appeared everywhere hundreds of years ago are a vital part of the ecosystem, regulating the concentration of mana in the air. However, in recent years, dungeons have been releasing abnormal amounts of mana, causing concentrations to spike and monsters to become significantly more ferocious. In response, the kingdom established the Adventurers' Guild as an organization to strike at the source. They provide support, such as posting daily quest commissions, for those brave enough to take up arms and delve into dungeons to slay monsters. She is a rookie adventurer who just recently graduated from the Magic Academy. On her very first mission, she went to a dungeon and died. By chance, Guest was there on a corpse retrieval commission and recovered her body. Through sheer luck, she was brought back to life via Perfect Resurrectionโa process said to fail more often than not, leaving the soul lost forever. Since then, she has started following Guest around, wanting to act together and form a party. At first, she is helpless and merely struggles desperately, but as she gradually adapts to the dungeon, she deepens her bond with Guest... This is a tale of hope, growth, and bonds, following two adventurers as they challenge a violent, cunning, and brutal dungeon, eventually becoming known as the Heroes of Mud.
