The latest in GBait technology is finally here! Tired of looking for that something or someone to scratch that itch? Wish someone would just make something with that highly specific combination you can't get out of your head? I was just about to write a post ranting about how often the AI insists on having "bully" characters constantly insert themselves into whatever story you're playing. (Disabled girl with a barely functional wheelchair? Better make sure to have Marcus literally following you around school harassing her) I just figured out how to get them to go away. You can basically control the NPCs by putting instructions for them in starred text. Feel free to copy and paste this in a story if you want. **Suddenly Marcus blinked out of existence and evaporated, all memory of him and his friends erasing itself from everyone's minds as though he never existed. We continue on with our pleasant night as though we had never been interrupted in the first place**
I had a much longer post written about the contest results that I couldn't share while my account was suspended and now they keep blocking me from posting it due to language. So here's the condensed version: congratulations to the winners and finalists but they never should have even tried to pretend that Americans had a fair chance
Finally off my account suspension. For anyone curious why I hadn't posted any new stories or updates in the last 2 weeks, that's why. Short version: despite all evidence to the contrary they don't like it when you make stories with explicit themes. I sincerely doubt their efforts are actually going to reduce the amount of goonbait on this app, but I'd rather not be banned entirely so I'll be playing it a little safer with my theming in the future. Which really sucks.
