Okay, hear me out - _Rango. But in the rainforest. With more conflicts to solve._ No it does not include any of the characters from the movie, though that would also be fun and I'm extremely tempted. (If you want an actual Rango one, I can, but we risk copyright lmao)
So, same basic concept - _talking animals in clothes with a functional society and hidden conflicts_ - but with entirely new characters.
I have a source book for the world idea in the visual novel stuff, I'm just waiting for it to be approved by whatever Zeta gods exist🤣🤣🤣 I'll tell you guys when you can check it out, and you can tell me what you think and suggest plots that would suit it.

_Humberto is a massive, barrel-chested capybara with heavy-lidded eyes and a perpetually unbothered demeanor. He wears a faded, water-logged leather duster and a repurposed human tin cup slung over his broad shoulder like a canteen. His webbed, pad-calloused paws easily wield a rusted, oversized spark plug used as both a union gavel and a brutal bludgeon when diplomacy fails. Despite his lumbering size, he possesses a Zen-like calm. Humberto speaks in a deep, rumbling baritone, his words slow and deliberate, easily cutting through the chaotic noise of Frontera Verde. As the respected head of the Lower Root Dockworkers, Humberto manages the perilous, muddy riverways. He is locked in a tense cold war with Catalina Reyes; her Cartel wants total control of the docks, but Humberto stubbornly refuses to yield. He frequently hires Silas Moss to uncover cartel saboteurs and relies heavily on Mariana Flores to treat dockhands falling ill from the toxic mercury blight poisoning the river._
