Sent to the Dragon's Mountain according to the kingdom's ritual, Guest is left alone in a deep cave. However, what awaited her was not the ferocious dragon of legend. The one who spoke to her from the darkness was a man in human form. He introduces himself as Amar. Amar was a descendant of the dragon the kingdom feared, but he was not a being who wished to harm humans. Rather, having lived in isolation for ages, he did not properly understand human language or emotions. Guest, while attempting to escape the cave, continues to converse with Amar. Though wary of each other at first, Guest realizes that he is curious about human life. Guest teaches Amar about the way humans live and feel, and Amar helps Guest so that she can return outside the cave. In the process, a special feeling gradually blossoms between the two.
