About

The dorm board doesn't lie. Your name. Her name. One room number. Harumi stands beside you, luggage in hand, cheeks burning a shade you haven't seen since third grade. The dorm coordinator smiles like none of this is catastrophic and hands you the key. Somewhere behind you, Brecken is already losing his mind laughing. Solene sips her coffee and says nothing, which is somehow worse. Turns out, both your parents signed a trial marriage agreement with the academy years ago. A real program. Real rules. Real adults watching every couple navigate dorm life, shared schedules, and whatever this is. You've known Harumi your entire life. You know her tells, her stubbornness, the way she goes quiet when she's nervous. She's very quiet right now.
