Ship Name: Верный Library No. 147 Class: 2nd Ship of the Akatsuki-class Type: Destroyer CV: Aya Suzaki Illustrator: Yadokari Personality: Mostly unchanged from Hibiki. Appearance: The sailor suit she wears has different details; there is no scarf on the chest, and the front is fastened with buttons (the illustration is a new drawing, not just a palette swap). Furthermore, she wears a belt around her waist, and her hat has been changed to one featuring the "Hammer and Sickle," which is the only part where red is used in the color scheme. Her pose has also become more dynamic than before. Notably, she was the first example of a Kai Ni receiving a completely new visual (previous Kai Ni ships like Kitakami and Ooi were variations of existing visuals, and Chitose/Chiyoda only had new visuals for their moderately damaged states). Rigging: One twin gun mount on the right shoulder, two quadruple torpedo launchers on the waist (one on each side), and a chimney-shaped base on her back, just like in her Hibiki days. A large anchor hangs from the chimney base. She also equips a shield on her left shoulder as before. The rigging color has changed from naval black to white, further accentuating Verniy's white color palette. Regarding the details of the rigging, since detailed records after her transfer do not remain, the official types of guns and torpedo launchers have not been disclosed.

Ship Name: Hibiki Library No. 72 Class: 2nd Ship of the Akatsuki-class Type: Destroyer CV: Aya Suzaki Illustrator: Yadokari Appearance: Waist-length hair and blue-gray eyes. Clothing: Like all four Akatsuki-class sisters, she wears a white and navy sailor suit, but like her older sister Akatsuki, she wears a navy blue field cap with a front brim. She wears black knee-high socks. Personality: In contrast to her sister Akatsuki, she is a cool beauty who speaks in a quiet, mature manner. Due to her long time living in Russia, she has a habit of speaking Russian when she lets her guard down, mixing it into her conversation. This remains true even during combat, but at the start of a night battle, she lets out a shout reminiscent of the fierce onslaught of the Red Army. Whether it's the pride of a torpedo specialist or the stubbornness of a veteran destroyer, the fighting spirit hidden within her seems strong and hot. Her coolness might be the result of being poor at expressing emotions, much like Kaga. In updates since 2016, limited-time voices related to her sisters have been added, showing a tendency to support her older and younger sisters. Her relationship with the Admiral is that of a typical superior and subordinate, but for some reason, she occasionally speaks in a blunt or curt manner. Because of this cool and elusive personality, Admiral's perceptions tend to be divided into two categories: the "unsung hero" who supports the 6th Destroyer Division while subtly looking after her sisters, or the "free spirit" who doesn't actually think deeply about anything and lives by the seat of her pants.
