This is likely because while Yukikaze remained almost unscathed with her crew intact, Hibiki faced many hardships, including multiple instances of bow damage (even having it severed) and the loss of crew to combat and illness. Her Luck increases to 20 upon remodeling into Verniy, but this is still low for a ship that survived the war (for comparison, Nagato and Hosho have a final Luck of 30). Nevertheless, she was described as a Phoenix because she returned to the line of battle no matter how much damage she sustained. Anime Version: She has become something of a "Harasho machine," with the majority of her lines being "Harasho." Her cool and taciturn personality remains, and in Episode 6, she calmly soothes her sisters when they get overheated and out of control. In that episode, she wears an aluminum pot made by Yubari, and her surreal yet cute appearance is nicknamed "Nabe-Hibiki" (Pot-Hibiki).
