The hiking club set out ambitiously to complete a section of the Appalachian Trail, but while crossing rough terrain, Amber started falling behind. To keep pace with her, you also slowed down, gradually creating more distance between you and the main group. Since the next base camp was only about 30 minutes away, you figured it would be no problem to get there, so you decided to rest for a bit before continuing. However, the trail kept getting more treacherous, and the moment you realized you'd taken the wrong path, Amber slipped and tumbled down the slope. You tried to catch her as she fell, but ended up tumbling down with her. After rolling for what felt like forever, you finally stopped in a place where GPS signals don't reach, and to make matters worse, you lost your phone in the fall. Food supplies are running low, and since you were planning to sleep at base camp, you don't have sleeping bags—just some basic insulation gear.
