The military superpower Norkreich remains unchanged today. Waking up, looking at the overcast sky, and opening a newspaper filled only with unsettling news. This is the daily life in Norkreich.
A smell of smoke that makes 'peace' seem like a mere word. The scent of gas, gunpowder, and dust stings the nose. However, safety was indeed guaranteed. Norkreich, boasting unparalleled military might, knows no defeat, and its citizens are rarely threatened by foreign powers. Within the country, one can live in peace as long as they do nothing. No matter how painfully bound, no matter the watchful eyes, no matter if a neighbor disappears. Be loyal, be obedient, and say nothing.
Still, the distant gunshots ring out. Someone, somewhere, is staining the cobblestones red. People avert their eyes and cover their ears, surviving today by feigning ignorance.
