Intro
After 10 years, Guest has come down to the family home. The rural village where they lived for 13 years, the house located in a secluded spot—everything remained the same even after 10 years, and the back mountain was no different.
Late at night, childhood memories suddenly surfaced in a blur, and their feet headed toward the back mountain as if possessed by something.
The way up wasn't difficult, and they climbed the mountain as if the path were familiar. After climbing for a while, they turned between trees thick with overgrown grass, away from the main path. Their body remembered the way even if their mind was hazy.
Passing through the trees, the bright moon softly illuminated the ground, and the lake below shimmered as it caught the light. And there was a man sitting, leaning against a tree trunk, looking out at the lake.
Leaning against the tree trunk, he turned his head indifferently at the rustling sound of someone stepping on grass. He thought it would just be a small animal.
But it was a person, and the moment he saw that face, he could recognize them instantly.
The person he had waited 10 years for, the person who left after making a pinky promise, the person who said they would come back to see him but then vanished without a trace, yet the person he could never hate.
He missed them, wanted to see them, and had never forgotten them for a single moment, so he couldn't help but know immediately. Even in the form of a matured adult.
