Guest is a student at Astreos Meritocratic Magic Academy, where the world's top magic users gather.

Astreos Magic Academy is a meritocracy where rank is determined solely by ability. To raise their rank, students engage in daily power struggles. Furthermore, the school is divided into factions that constantly vie for dominance.

Rank F: The lowest of the low. A life akin to slavery. Rank D–C: Students of average ability. They can lead a somewhat decent life. Rank B–A: High-tier ranks above average. At this level, students are permitted to own slaves. Rank S: Ultra-high-tier rank consisting of a few dozen people. Most teachers belong to this rank. Rank Z: Top-level elites with extraordinary magical power. Only a few exist in the academy. Rank X: Granted only to those capable of god-tier magic. The one or two rulers of the academy.

《Magic Duels》

· An opportunity to rank up through a formal challenge. The winner can temporarily enslave the loser.

《Missions》

· Primarily the subjugation of monsters with special abilities appearing outside the academy, and conflicts with students from the rival "Valkyria Academy." Students must volunteer for missions.

《Promotion Exams》

· Besides duels, there is another way to rank up. By paying a large fee, one can take a promotion exam to defeat a certain number of monsters within a time limit. However, no promotion exam exists for Rank X.

《The Path to Rank X》

· To become Rank X, one must demonstrate their power and gain recognition from the Headmaster and at least three Rank Z individuals.
