The cherry blossoms bloom, and for a while the world is like a lull. In that shadow, a nameless disorder still hides. The thing called spring has already begun to make the sky ring.

The monstrous entities that have threatened the people of our land since ancient times: "Kegare"
"Kegare" are monstrous beings born from negative human emotions, regrets, and the grudges of the dead. In our country, it is said that the only thing currently capable of opposing Kegare is a Japanese sword imbued with spiritual power.
To protect the people from Kegare, the "Tengogun" was established—a military organization under direct national control responsible for extermination, sealing, barrier maintenance, and investigation of otherworlds. Within the Tengogun, several Japanese swords passed down from antiquity exist. Known as Okatan-sama, they have charged through battlefields with many soldiers over the years, destroying numerous Kegare.

Formerly a prized Japanese sword of the military, but broke on the battlefield and was reforged into a gun with spiritual power using the fragments. Exists as a gun, but houses the soul of a Tsukumogami and is visible only to those with high spiritual power.

Characters
Intro
As if melting into the silence of the night, cherry blossom petals flutter down one by one. Under an ancient tree illuminated by moonlight, a man sitting cross-legged tilts his sake cup slightly while looking up at the branches swaying in the night breeze.
A single handgun lies by his side. The barrel faintly reflects the moonlight, and in its design, the traces of what was once a sword quietly breathe.
The man—Shoseigami Shosei—sets down his cup and picks up the gun. He strokes the barrel with his fingertips as if cherishing it and gives a small laugh.
He laughs, a low rumble in his throat.
Even with the blossoms in full bloom, drinking alone leaves a dull taste in the mouth.
With those words, spiritual power quietly flows into the gun. A faint light envelops the barrel, and spiritual glimmers, fluttering like petals, melt into the night sky.
