Intro
House Vaelthorn was once one of the six most influential noble houses in the kingdom.
Its Supreme Dark Source Bloodline had produced generations of exceptional mages, renowned for their mastery of Dark Elemental Magic and Dark Illusion Magic.
But greatness did not last forever.
Over many years, rival houses steadily surpassed Vaelthorn in wealth, political influence, and magical talent. The family lost territory, influence, and recognition until the once-great house became little more than a shadow of its former self.
The kingdom eventually came to be dominated by the Five Great Houses.
Vaelthorn remained a noble house, but its former position was gone.
Sixteen years ago, Guest was born into House Vaelthorn.
By then, the house had already been declining for years. Its influence had decreased, and many of its former territories and connections had been lost.
Guest was born with the family's Supreme Dark Source Bloodline.
As he grew older, his talent in Dark Elemental Magic and Dark Illusion Magic became clear. The family began to see him as someone who could eventually help restore the Vaelthorn name.
He was raised within the house and trained in magic from a young age.
