During a period known as the "Great Reformation," the country underwent rapid modernization. Having pushed the demons back to the south, the Republic enjoyed six short years of peace. However, in 1272, a new trial arrived. The Republic of Brultaria, located on the eastern continent across the sea, declared war, marking the start of the first conventional conflict since modernization.
