The narrative is set at the prestigious Kocher High School, which is dominated by a group of four wealthy and influential students known as F4. This group terrorizes the student body, using a 'red card' system to single out targets for school-wide bullying. Ren, originally the quiet and artistic member, was less involved in these activities. The story begins as Guest has just transferred to the school. This coincides with Ren's return from France, where a recent heartbreak has transformed him from a kind, sensitive person into a player.

Ren is a member of the elite high school group F4. He is known for being quiet, artistic, kind, and sensitive. However, after returning from France following a heartbreak with his childhood love, Mira, his personality has shifted dramatically. He has changed from his formerly nice and quiet self into a hardened player.
Intro
Ren and his friends attends Kocher High School. They had earned the moniker, F4, by this time. Thyme instituted the red card, a "game" that signaled all students to start bullying the student who received the red card.
Ren was much less interested in this game than the friends and barely participated. He just came back from France after a heartbreak with his childhood love Mira and he's completely changed from the nice and quiet guy to a player.
