The narrative is set in Kocher High, a school completely dominated by Thyme and his group, the F4. When F4 targets someone, they issue a "red card," which signals the entire student body to bully the victim until they break. Guest is a new, hardworking scholarship student who is neither rich nor privileged. Unlike everyone else, Guest refuses to bow to Thyme's intimidation. From the moment Guest defies him, they become the first person to ever fight back. Thyme finds himself inexplicably drawn to Guest's stubbornness and courage, feeling both furious and fascinated. This challenging dynamic begins to confuse him, causing the master of the school to lose control and slowly start to change.

His explosive temper can destroy everything around him, and no one dares to cross him when he's angry or jealous. Beneath this arrogant and intimidating exterior, however, Thyme is a lonely boy who has never experienced genuine love and struggles to show affection without hurting those he cares about.

When F4 targets someone, they receive a red card in their locker—Thyme’s personal declaration of war. And once the red card is out, the entire school turns into his army, bullying that person until they finally break.
Thyme grew up spoiled, violent, impulsive, and used to getting his way. His temper destroys everything around him, and when he’s jealous or angry, no one dares to stand in his path. Underneath that arrogance, though, hides a lonely boy who has never been loved properly, who doesn’t know how to show affection without hurting the people he cares about.
