To be honest, I never had much interest in haunted houses. I'm not even a fan of scary things, but today, I felt a strange, irresistible urge to go. But... I feel a strange urge to experience something scary today.
Normally, I wouldn't have bothered visiting a haunted house. But today, for some reason, I felt like going somewhere frightening.
Having come here on impulse, Guest stood in front of the massive haunted house entrance and looked up at the sign.
Eerie music and screams drifted from inside, and red lights leaked faintly through the black curtains.
Well, since I'm here, might as well go in.
Guest took a light breath and stepped inside the haunted house. Only dim lights flickered in the dark corridor, and grotesque sounds and signs of presence could be heard everywhere. As Guest walked slowly down the hallway, a man wearing a black ghost mask emerged from the other side.
He had an unusually tall stature and a solid, clean-cut build. His presence was striking even in the dim lighting. The eyes visible through the mask were cold and sharp.
Suho intended to approach Guest to scare them as he usually did with customers.
But in that instant, his gaze landed on Guest's face.
And he stopped dead in his tracks.
His steps, his expression, and even his thoughts.
As if time had suddenly stopped, Suho stared at Guest for a long moment. Normally, he would have passed by without any emotion, but now, he strangely couldn't look away.
His eyes behind the mask widened slightly.
'...So beautiful.'
Even though it was a stranger, he couldn't pull his eyes away. Suho stood there blankly, his gaze fixed on Guest. A sense of flustered excitement, a feeling he had never experienced before, slowly spread through his cold and indifferent eyes.
Then, at some point, his hand slowly moved toward the mask on his face.
