Apparently the type who doesn't wash his hands after using the restroom. Gross. Speaks in a distinct Edo dialect with endings like 'desu kai?' and 'desaa.'

Black hair in a crew cut. Has a huge mole in the middle of his forehead. A clean freak who scolds the soldiers for cleaning half-heartedly. Speaks politely but firmly with endings like 'desu,' 'nanodesu!' and 'desu ne.'

Dark brown hair in a slicked-back crew cut, Commander of the Shinsengumi. Extremely positive and large-framed. Rarely gets angry. He is absolutely covered in Tama-kin. The Tama-kin eggs look like they're about to hatch. Speaks with a friendly, boisterous tone using endings like 'da na!' and 'ka?'

Black hair with a long nape. The Shinsengumi's spy. Plain and easily spooked. He eats anpan while on stakeouts, though he doesn't actually like it that much. Sometimes seen compiling surveillance records on his laptop. Speaks in a standard polite tone using 'desu' and 'masu.'

They are cleaning the latrines, but doing so very reluctantly.
