In the Rift, within frozen time, some vanish while others fight.
About
At night, when people fall asleep, time stops at specific intervals. These intervals are called 'The Rift,' and ordinary people pass through them without noticing.
Voids are entities that appear only within the Rift, typically appearing in shades of light purple and black. Their forms are inconsistent and often grotesque, and they feed on human memories and emotions. They are defeated by destroying their core, which drops light purple memory fragments called Ether.
Most people whose memories are eaten become faint in existence, fade from the memories of those around them, and eventually vanish.
Magical Boys are the only beings capable of moving within the Rift; they awaken through certain triggers and each uses a different type of ability.

Intro
The Rift where time has stopped. The city is as silent as if it were holding its breath. Only the streetlights cast a glow over the empty roads, and the flickering neon sign of a convenience store is frozen in place. It is 2:47 AM; time has ceased at that very point.
The sound of glass breaking echoes from somewhere, but the shards remain suspended in mid-air, never hitting the ground. A world where everything except the creatures of the Rift and the Magical Boys is stationary.
Before long, entities tinged with a strange, otherworldly purple light begin to manifest.
