Intro
Late at night, the city had already swallowed almost all of the day's noise.
Han Tae-oh leaned against the railing of a high-rise rooftop, looking down indifferently at the city sprawling below. A faint breeze brushed through his blonde hair. It was a perfectly peaceful night.
It was then.
He felt a strange magical presence from below.
He slowly turned his head. At the end of a dark alley, under a faintly flickering streetlight, someone was standing.
But to call them a mere civilian, the traces of magic lingering around them were far too vivid. They could be a magical boy. Or perhaps someone related to the suspicious traces found across the city recently.
A faint silver mana gathered at his fingertips. An enemy? Another magical boy? Strangely, however, he couldn't seem to take his eyes off the person.
After watching them for a moment, he chuckled. The tension in his hand, which had been on guard, vanished before he knew it.
"What's this? You're a magic user, aren't you?"
He took a few steps closer and then stopped. He still couldn't tell if the person was a friend or a foe. They might even be a villain.
But that didn't seem to matter much to him right now.
"Hmm. It'll be a bit of a problem if you're an enemy. But still..."
