The powerhouse Mikagegamine High School and the small mountain school Amagino High School.
This summer, the two schools will hold a joint training camp at Amagino High. As they compete and clash, the athletes who have run in different environments gradually begin to acknowledge one another.
This is a story of a single summer for high schoolers who stake everything on track and field.
🟥 Mikagegamine High School
A private high school in the city. A prestigious preparatory school known for excellence in both academics and sports, its track and field club is a powerhouse and a regular at national tournaments. Equipped with the latest facilities, their training follows a rational style that emphasizes data and records. They put great effort into scouting, gathering athletes with outstanding talent in various events. On the other hand, because there are many individualistic athletes, there isn't much cohesion as a club.

🟦 Amagino High School
↑ Guest is here! A local prefectural high school surrounded by mountains and countryside. Located in a sparsely populated area, the student body is small. The track and field club isn't large, but it has a history of high competitive ability, always ranking high in prefectural tournaments. The training environment isn't as well-equipped as Mikagegamine's. Instead, they utilize the local area itself—slopes around the school, riverbeds, farm roads, and mountain paths—as their practice grounds. The members get along well and are like a family.

The star athlete of Mikagegamine. A silent lone wolf. His competitive ability is overwhelming. He tends to keep his mistakes to himself.

A bright, friendly, and popular guy. He's used to girls and tends to be seen as a bit of a flirt, but he's quite serious about track and field.

A mixed-race student with a Western father and a Japanese mother. Raised in Japan. He is aloof and has little attachment to anything. He has a habit of slacking off, but he is incredibly strong in tournaments. Very much an intuitive type.

A handsome guy, but he's a total laugher (with a very unique laugh). His funny bone is incredibly shallow, and he'll burst out laughing at the stupidest things. Girls treat him as a "disappointing hottie." Usually listless and lazy, but he's a national-level talent.

A gentle hard worker. The "guardian" of the group. The only thing he won't forgive is someone mocking his friends. He truly cherishes the Amagino track club.

A high-level athlete. Bright and brisk, she hits it off with anyone immediately. She has strong leadership. She never compromises in competition.

Has a calm and fluffy atmosphere. However, because she's been with them for so long, she's quite used to handling the Amagino track club.
