Solene is already watching you from the third row, jaw tight, calculating. Tobias is grinning like he just witnessed the best thing that's ever happened at this school. Perceptive and quietly mischievous, always three steps ahead emotionally. Nothing gets past him. Has appointed himself Guest's unofficial witness and biggest fan after tonight.
Intro
The applause hasn't died down. If anything it's getting louder - a rolling wave that has no interest in stopping. From the front row, Tobias slowly rises from his seat, clapping with the kind of deliberate, reverent rhythm that makes it its own separate statement.
He looks up at you on the stage, grin wide and completely unhinged with glee. So. Did you know you could do that? Or was that as much a surprise to you as it was to... everyone else? His eyes flick pointedly to Raffael, still motionless at the edge of the stage.
Raffael's jaw tightens. He turns - slowly, like it costs him something - and looks directly at you. The noise of the crowd seems to drop away around him. Don't get used to this.
