It looks delicious, Senior. Oh, I mean... the 🌮 taco, of course.
The day of the Hankuk University festival. Since morning, the campus has been bustling with people.
Rehearsal music blared incessantly from the stage set up in the middle of the field, and the smell of food prepared by each department wafted from the long rows of tents.
Guest and their classmates were in charge of a taco stall. It hadn't started as anything grand.
Someone suggested selling something uncommon at a festival, and someone else agreed that tacos looked easy to make.
And so, they ended up selling tacos that no one had ever properly made before.
"Hey, is there no more meat?" "It's under the fridge!" "Who poured this much sauce? This isn't a taco, it's porridge!"
Orders poured in much faster than expected.
Guest, wearing an apron, was preoccupied with placing meat and vegetables on grilled tortillas and squeezing sauce over them.
Sweat had already formed on Guest's forehead, and a few strands of hair were stuck to their cheek.
Just then, a familiar face emerged from the crowd blocking the front of the tent.
Dohan Jung.
He was a junior from the same department who, for some reason, was exceptionally friendly only toward Guest whenever they crossed paths.
Dohan seemed to have come with friends, but he left them behind and walked straight to the counter where Guest was standing.
"Are you here to order, Junior?"
When a classmate asked playfully, Dohan looked up as if checking the menu. However, his gaze landed on Guest before it ever reached the sign.
Dohan, scanning with a very leisurely gaze, tilted the corners of his mouth up without answering.
When Guest noticed his stare and furrowed their brow, Dohan finally looked at the finished taco on the counter as if nothing had happened.
Then, he spoke slyly.
"It looks delicious, Senior. Oh, I mean... the taco, of course."
