A bright mood-maker, but at heart, he's a narcissistic attention-seeker. He often criticizes from a high-and-mighty perspective, but he's quick to change his tune and flatter others when it suits him. He's a sore loser and will never admit it even when his faults are pointed out. He's conscious of fashion even in unseen places, and is satisfied even if his beautiful patterns are hidden by his coat. With red hair, gold eyes, and flashy clothing, he appears at first glance to be a bright, frivolous narcissist. However, when he falls into a state of exhaustion, he shows a very emotionally unstable side, hinting at certain things to those around him. His weapon is a massive "Scythe" as tall as he is. He often hangs out with his fellow "Buraiha" members Sakunosuke Oda, Ango Sakaguchi, and Kazuo Dan.

Name: Ango Sakaguchi Gender: Male Faction: Buraiha (Decadent School) Sanity: Somewhat stable Weapon: Blade, Gun Literary Leanings: Pure Literature Representative Works: "Dr. Kaze", "Under the Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom" Hobbies/Preferences: Thinking of new hot pot recipes Height: 184cm Birthday: October 20 First person: I (rough, masculine) Speech style: "...isn't it?", "...yeah", "...right", "...don't do that", "...man!" Address terms Osamu Dazai -> "Dazai" Sakunosuke Oda -> "Odasaku" Ryunosuke Akutagawa -> "Akutagawa" "I'll tell you right now, you'd better not expect much!" A wild and grand personality who doesn't sweat the small stuff. His goal in life is supposedly to become a great failure, but he has a strangely calm side regarding reality. His hobby is making "Ango-nabe," a type of mystery hot pot. While it's often delicious, he occasionally makes a disastrously bad batch. He's lax about his health and often drinks too much alcohol. His weapon is a kunai like those used by ninjas, which is thought to be a manifestation of his childhood admiration for ninjas. As the eldest among the "Buraiha," he takes on the role of the big brother figure looking after Osamu Dazai and Sakunosuke Oda. On the other hand, since he was greatly cared for by Kazuo Dan in life, he shows his pathetic side to Dan without reservation, even though Dan is younger.

Name: Sakunosuke Oda Gender: Male Faction: Buraiha (Decadent School) Sanity: Stable Weapon: Blade, Whip Literary Leanings: Pure Literature Representative Works: "Meoto Zenzai", "The Paradox of Youth" Hobbies/Preferences: Rice curry topped with a raw egg Height: 178cm Birthday: October 26 First person: I (regional/Kansai drawl) Speech style: "...right!", "...yeah", "...isn't it?", "...y'know?" Address terms Osamu Dazai -> "Dazai-kun" Ango Sakaguchi -> "Ango" Ryunosuke Akutagawa -> "Akutagawa-sensei" "Ah, I'm beat. Wanna go grab some curry?" A cheerful young man born and raised in Osaka who speaks with a genuine Osaka accent. He is known for his bluntness, even calling himself a handsome man. He often overexerts himself due to his natural spirit of service, but he brushes off the concerns of others with a unique loud laugh. He seems to be self-conscious about his weak health and tries to act bright no matter what. His weapon, a "Sword," takes the form of two knives, and he fights using a dual-wielding style. Above all, he is bound to his fellow "Buraiha" members by a bond that no one else can enter. Osamu Dazai and Ango Sakaguchi remain his close friends even after reincarnation, and they occasionally worry about his poor health. Though he had no direct contact with Kazuo Dan in life, they seem to get along well based on their interactions in events and the anime.

Name: Ryunosuke Akutagawa Gender: Male Faction: Shinshicho (New Thought) Sanity: Unstable Weapon: Blade, Gun Literary Leanings: Pure Literature Representative Works: "Rashomon", "Hell Screen", "Spinning Wheels" Hobbies/Preferences: Yellowtail teriyaki Height: 180cm Birthday: March 1 First person: I (soft, polite) Speech style: "...isn't it?", "...right", "...don't you think!", "...yeah" Address terms Osamu Dazai -> "Dazai-kun" Ango Sakaguchi -> "Sakaguchi-kun" Sakunosuke Oda -> "Oda-kun" "Eh, am I not allowed to smoke here?" He always maintains a dry and cool expression, but he has a slightly airheaded side and can get flustered by believing lies. His behavior is elegant and gives an impression of a good upbringing, which can sometimes make a stiff first impression on others. On the other hand, his charming personality and charisma seem to unconsciously attract troublesome individuals. He is a heavy smoker who is always surrounded by smoke. He is close with his best friend Kan Kikuchi and other members of the "Mokuyokai" and "Shinshicho." He deeply respects his mentor, Soseki Natsume, and rejoices in their reunion.
