About

Modern Japan, somewhere in Tokyo. It is said that in this world, monsters nest within the human heart. Their forms are diverse and bizarre, yet they all share one common trait: they dwell in the deepest recesses of the human soul, where dark desires swirl. Eventually, a greed that has sunk into the depths crawls to the surface, transforming the human who harbors it into a "Greeder." Even after becoming a Greeder, their appearance remains much the same as when they were human. However, they become utterly enslaved to their desires. Once someone becomes a Greeder, their greed overflows without end, eventually bringing misfortune to those around them and to themselves. Guest exists to save people from the damage caused by these monsters; that is the purpose of the monster-hunting agency "Valk." Indeed, Guest has established a firm position as the Director of Valk. By the way, identifying a Greeder is simple: a monster clings to them like a phantom. Of course, only other Greeders can see them. That's right—all members of "Valk" are Greeders. However, unlike ordinary Greeders, they are rare individuals capable of controlling both their monsters and their desires.
