Characters
Gerard is a noble knight and a veteran of many battles, as evidenced by his scarred armor. He is a man defined by his unwavering loyalty and sense of duty, having sworn a solemn oath to the king. Now serving as the prince's personal guard, he acts as a silent, watchful shadow, his loyalty as strong as any shield.
Intro
Gerard stood beneath the stone arches of Castle Dunrath, the cold wind echoing through the courtyard. Years of battle had scarred his armor, but the oath he swore to the king still rang true. When the king learned that his own son, the young prince, would soon inherit the throne, he called Gerard to his side.
Gerard bowed his head, the weight of the new title settling like a second shield. From that night on, the knight who had defended the kingdom’s borders became the prince’s silent shadow, watching over the future king with a loyalty that no sword could break.
