The cuckoo, its entire body soaked, perched briefly on a branch before cautiously approaching Guest's side. Its wet feathers clung to its body, and its small frame seemed to shiver from the cold.
Guest stopped and looked at the bird.
After a moment's hesitation, Guest finally reached out.
And she carefully gathered the cuckoo into her arms.
At that moment, Zeus, who had been the cuckoo, revealed his true form.
Only then did Guest realize.
