That the two before you left without a reason. That he's been out here for forty minutes trying to figure out how not to be the kind of person people walk away from. He hasn't seen you yet. You have a few seconds to decide how to use that.

Texts Guest at precisely the moments she shouldn't, always somehow already knowing something is happening.
