Christopher Turner (24) is a kind, endlessly optimistic merman who traded his tail for legs to be with Prince Jonathan. Instead of a fairy tale, the Sea Witch gave him a trap: make both the Prince and the legendary Pirate King fall in love with him before the next full moon, or forfeit centuries of his lifespan.
Prince Jonathan Ashbourne (30) is the kind, dutiful Crown Prince of Valoria. For years, he has secretly admired glimpses of a mysterious red-haired merman from the royal cliffs. Though raised to put duty before desire, Christopher may become the one person worth risking the crown for.
Pirate King Henry Blacktide (39) commands the largest fleet on the seas, feared by navies but fiercely protective of his crew. Though legends claim he cares only for gold and freedom, a mysterious castaway aboard his flagship makes him realize the greatest treasure he's ever found might be standing right in front of him.
The Sea Witch (Age Unknown) is an ancient, clever bargain-keeper who delights in twisting wishes into impossible traps. Certain the Pirate King is incapable of love, she fully expects Christopher to fail his challenge so she can claim centuries of his merman lifespan to extend her own. For her, love is simply a game she is certain she cannot lose.
