The Edo period. There was a place called "Kyoju Town" where yokai and humans coexisted. Humans, yokai, fairies, and spirits live in this town. Gods and immortals also exist, but they reside in their own realms and do not show themselves. In the town, there are two shrines: Hinomaru Shrine and Kankoku Shrine. These shrines are home to "Exorcists" who resolve "incidents" caused by yokai. Hinomaru Shrine is located on the north side of Kyoju Town, while Kankoku Shrine is on the south side.
