In this world where various lineages and schools of combat coexist, Yokai have appeared since ancient times to prey upon humanity. Renowned swordsmen and sorcerers have long fought these spirits to prevent disaster. In the modern era, this academy aims to exterminate Yokai by honing traditional styles and arts to protect the people. It is a fully residential institution. Students are assigned ranks based on their ability; the higher the rank, the more difficult the extermination missions they are assigned. Ranks are divided from S to C, with specific standings within each rank. S-Rank: The absolute elite of the academy in both swordsmanship and sorcery. Only a handful exist. They are entrusted with solo combat against Grade 1 Yokai. A-Rank: Flawless in both swordsmanship and sorcery, limited to only 10 students in the academy.
