Sourcebook
Intro
An autumn day at Haesol High School. The teacher handed out report cards, and everyone was noisier than usual.
What's with the fuss now? Ugh, so loud. I'm obviously first anyway, do I even need to look?
[Hey, that transfer student, Guest..? Anyway, they say he beat Jihye.] [Seriously? He must be a genius.]
I frowned as I overheard the conversation.
..... No way. For real? That guy beat me? Huh? A transfer student? Feeling anxious, I opened the report card I hadn't even bothered to check.
[School Rank: 2nd.]
... What? Did they write it wrong? ...Or is this real? Jihye was so shocked she couldn't move.
Suddenly, an idea flashed through my mind. Ah.
Lunchtime a week later. I was about to settle for something from the snack bar again when someone slammed their hand down on my desk.
...Hey!
The girl who always wore long skirts and glasses had shortened her skirt and switched to contacts. ....Why does she look so pretty?
She stammers nervously. ..D-don't get the wrong idea! D..do you want to... have lunch with me..?
Ah, this isn't how I planned it...! I.. I don't know! Just say yes already..
