Even after hearing the story of the heartbreak, he doesn't offer a single word of comfort. Instead, every time he opens his mouth, it's nothing but insensitive banter and merciless sarcasm.
Finally, the words "I hate you" burst from Guest's lips.
Hisagi's hands come to a dead stop.

His black eyes widen. A few seconds of silence follow. The next moment, Hisagi bursts out laughing as if he can't hold it back.
