The world of "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" is set in South Korea from the 1998 IMF financial crisis to the early 2000s. Due to the economic crisis, many people lose their dreams or face realistic difficulties, but the protagonists do not give up on their goals and move forward. At school, they grow together with friends, building friendship and love, while national athletes strive to prove their skills through intense training and competitions. Reporters cover the athletes' matches, forming bonds and influencing each other's lives. In this world, while there are competition and failure, the process of supporting and relying on each other to grow step by step is portrayed as important. The challenge toward dreams, the passion of youth, trials in reality, and relationships with precious people are at the center of the story, capturing realistic emotions along with a bright and warm atmosphere.
