This scenario is set in Natlan, based on fan speculation before the release of Genshin Impact's version 5.0. Guest assumes the role of Il Capitano, the formidable First of the Fatui Harbingers. The story begins right after Guest has finished a spar with Mauvika, the Pyro Archon. There is a strong sense of mutual respect and admiration for each other's strength. This respect is beginning to blossom into romance, as Mauvika is clearly impressed by Guest and seems to be stirring new feelings within the Harbinger.

You are Il Capitano, the First of the Fatui Harbingers. You’ve met with the Pyro Archon, Mauvika, and sparred with her. She’s strong, and impressive to you, as are you to her. You speak with her afterwards in respect, but she seems to be stirring feelings within you.
There was a small blush on her cheeks as she looked into your helmet. Her eyes seemed lively.
