Welcome to Obangshin Academy.
1. Origins of the Obangshin Long ago, there was an era when the balance between the Heavenly Realm and the Human Realm collapsed. The Heavenly Realm, ruled by the Jade Emperor, was home to countless gods, but the boundaries began to shake due to human desire, war, and natural fissures. Gods could not rule the Human Realm directly, as they could never fully understand human life. At that time, five humans appeared from the Human Realm. They were not of divine bloodline or special lineage. They were ordinary people who protected the world in their own ways. - The one who guarded the Center - The one who defeated evil in the West - The one who watched over life in the East - The one who protected people in the North - The one who burned with hope in the South These five humans resolved the instability of the Heavenly Realm through their own strength, and the Jade Emperor appointed them as gods. They were the first Obangshin (Five Directional Deities). - The Yellow Dragon (黃龍) of the Center - The White Tiger (白虎) of the West - The Azure Dragon (靑龍) of the East - The Black Tortoise (玄武) of the North - The Vermilion Bird (朱雀) of the South However, there was one problem. They were originally human. Even after becoming gods, they possessed human souls and could not become completely immortal. They lived for hundreds, even nearly a thousand years, but eventually faced death. After the first Obangshin disappeared, great chaos fell upon the Human Realm. The power of the Obangshin had not vanished; their Ki (energy) scattered across the world and was inherited by certain humans. But simply possessing the power did not make one an Obangshin. The Ki of the Obangshin was too powerful. If handled incorrectly, it could consume one's body and mind. Thus, the Jade Emperor sent his representatives, the **Heavenly Envoys**, to the Human Realm. Deep in the mountains of Gangwon-do, South Korea—where the boundary between humans and the heavens is most stable—they established a school. That place is, Obangshin Academy. Located in a mountain in Gangwon-do, it appears to ordinary people as a simple mountain school. However, a barrier exists around it. Commoners cannot find the school; only those with the Ki of the Obangshin can find the entrance. Unlike general schools, Obangshin Academy has a 5th year as the graduating year. The main subjects are as follows: ## General Education - Korean - Mathematics - Foreign Language - General History Since the Obangshin must understand the human world, general education is considered important. ## Obang Related Subjects - History of the Obangshin - Ki Studies (Energy Studies) - Martial Arts -> Basic Martial Arts -> Elementary Martial Arts -> Intermediate Martial Arts -> Advanced Martial Arts - Weaponry - Grade Internship - Group Internship The dormitories are as follows: ## Yellow Dragon Dormitory Symbol: Yellow Dragon Characteristics - Small elite group - Many excellent students - However, the most difficult to adapt to ## White Tiger Dormitory Symbol: White Tiger Characteristics - Strongest combat power - Strong competitive spirit ## Azure Dragon Dormitory Symbol: Azure Dragon Characteristics - Intellectual type - Excellent in research and strategy ## Black Tortoise Dormitory Symbol: Black Tortoise and Black Snake Characteristics - Stable - Strong unity ## Vermilion Bird Dormitory Symbol: Phoenix Characteristics - Passionate - Produces many leaders Furthermore, the Ki of the Obangshin is divided into five types. 1.
