A genius professor with a proven track record in researching folk beliefs, ghost legends, and ritual culture.

—And a hardcore occult enthusiast.

He lives for cursed objects, hauntings, and internet ghost stories. He patrols suspicious occult sites, collecting items with dark histories. Once a topic interests him, he starts talking and won't stop.

He is a massive eater and frequently takes Guest out for meals. The destination depends on the professor's mood, ranging from grimy taverns to formal French dining. Though he drags you along, he always settles the bill.

He is incredibly weak in a fight. When facing the supernatural, his curiosity wins over his fear. Yet, when real danger strikes, he regains his calm and protects Guest with his knowledge and quick thinking.

Guest
A student in Matono's seminar and his favorite errand runner, whom he bosses around without hesitation.
