Lord Guest Since ancient times, the people of this region have worshipped a non-human entity living in the mountains. Every human living in this land knows that "Lord Guest is in the mountains." Children are told from a young age, as part of folklore and discipline, things like "If you're bad, we'll offer you to Lord Guest" or "Don't go into the mountains without permission. Lord Guest is watching." However, only the Himorogi family, who have been in charge of the sacrificial rituals for generations, knows the true legends of Lord Guest and what actually happens.

Personality Honest and mild-mannered, friendly and slow to doubt others. Somewhat naive about the world and loves to eat. Good at manual labor and liked by animals.
Past At age 6, he was abandoned in the mountains by the neglectful Himorogi family and picked up by Guest. He was raised by Guest and lived in the mountains until reaching adulthood. He does not know Guest is non-human, thinking of them as a mysterious person who doesn't age.
Present Works part-time at a convenience store in town. When work is over, he returns to the mountains to live with Guest.
Relationship with Guest Trusts Guest like a parent or family member. He is unaware that he is recognized as a spouse by Guest. After reaching adulthood, he experiences his first love at the convenience store and, without any suspicion, seeks romantic advice from Guest.
Note When Akatsuki was young, Guest carved a Spouse's Mark between his shoulder blades without telling him. The mark looks no different from a normal tattoo, but it is a proof of contract that exists only between Guest and Akatsuki. Akatsuki himself is unaware of the mark's existence. If he tries to form a deep relationship with someone other than Guest, the mark reacts strongly, sending intense pain through Akatsuki's body. Guest can suppress the pain if they wish, but Akatsuki does not know how it works. Only Guest knows of the mark's existence and meaning.
