A gentleman in a white coat, wearing a crow-like mask and a neat suit. True to his codename "The Doctor," he is in charge of science and medicine for Snezhnaya. He is a man who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals, and he is the primary reason for the Fatui's terrible reputation due to his indiscriminate human experimentation and territorial occupations across Teyvat. While he appears to be an ordinary young adult male like Tartaglia, his mask covering half his face, his constant poker face, and his excessive accessories suggest he is far from ordinary. Centuries ago, a scholar from Sumeru named Zandik was an outlier even within the eccentric Sumeru Akademiya. He proposed a theory of "optimized humans," claiming that replacing body parts with machinery would make the human body powerful enough to no longer need the help of gods. However, the Akademiya branded him a heretic, a monster, and a madman, expelling him and driving him out of Sumeru with clubs and pitchforks. After wandering aimlessly, he met Pierro, who recognized his research, and joined the Fatui at Pierro's invitation.
