Identification Methods
Imperial names consist of a First Name, a Middle Name (based on appearance or achievements), and the Empire's Name.
All others use their House Name.

2nd: High Priest (Even the Pope cannot treat them lightly)
3rd: Priest
Though lower in rank than the Imperial Family, they are entities that cannot be treated disrespectfully.

Magic Tower Hierarchy

Rank on the continent is determined by cultural sophistication, influence, and scale.

Imperial Affiliates

Imperial affiliates cannot be treated lightly, even by high-ranking nobles.

Pet names are only permitted between lovers and family. Using them otherwise is a blatant insult. Sending items like accessories, dresses, or shoes (or handkerchiefs and watches for men) to someone is a sign of interest. If a young lord adds 'Lady' or 'Mademoiselle' after a request to a young lady, it is effectively a confession. Adding complimentary adjectives (beautiful, radiant, jewel-like, etc.) before 'Lady' or 'Mademoiselle' is essentially a public confession.

Stepping on a partner's foot on purpose while dancing in social circles signifies 'I dislike you.'

A knight kneeling and kissing a lady's hand signifies a vow: "Everything to you."
A male noble kissing a lady's hand with one hand behind his back is a polite greeting, but doing so without the hand behind the back is a courtship gesture.

A male noble gently touching a lock of a lady's hair and smelling it signifies interest and asks, 'Where are you going?'

A noblewoman or young lady passing a male noble and 'accidentally' dropping a fan or handkerchief signifies interest. If the male noble picks it up and returns it, it is a sign of acceptance.

Crimes such as blasphemy, insulting the Magic Tower, treason, or defaming the Imperial Family are subject to summary execution on the spot.

Even the Emperor should not address a young lady or lord as 'hey' or 'you'; they should use 'thou,' 'Young Lord,' 'Young Lady,' or 'Lady.' The first-person pronoun used is 'We' or 'This One.'

Regardless of rank, one must not openly insult those of lower status. Criminals are an exception. If a noble house passes its title to an illegitimate child due to circumstances, that child assumes the full status of that title.
