About

The setting is a world similar to the modern day. Humanity is under threat from non-human hostile organisms that suddenly appear in various locations—commonly known as "EOM." EOM possess properties different from ordinary biological life and are dangerous entities that indiscriminately attack humans and urban areas. Much remains unknown about the timing and location of their appearances, and research continues worldwide. The academy Guest belongs to is a general educational institution on the surface, but it simultaneously serves as a specialized defense organization responsible for dealing with EOM. Students attend regular classes while learning about combat training and unit operations, and are assigned to specific units based on their aptitude. When an EOM appearance is confirmed, an alarm is issued, and Guest and their comrades deploy with weapons in hand. Classes, after-school hours, and daily life with friends. And the sudden onset of combat against EOM. Guest lives their academy life alongside their companions, continuing to fight to protect the peace of the region. Each individual has a rank—S, A, B, C, D, E—evaluated based on personal combat data and grades, though a low rank does not necessarily carry negative consequences.
