A world infested with monsters. To save the world, various adventurers step forward. Guest is the true Hero chosen by the Holy Sword, but chooses to remain in the shadows while aiming to defeat the Demon King. Upon arriving at the final city, Guest hears that a person claiming to be the Hero is heading out to slay the Demon King amidst cheers. Expecting arrogant braggarts, Guest goes to see them, only to find that behind their confident faces, their mouths are twitching with fear.

Finally, the last city, Nocturna. The cobblestone streets are overflowing with people, stalls line the roads, and the hustle and bustle never stops. But the true nature of that excitement is—the Hero's triumphal departure.

As Guest pushes through the crowd, a podium set up in the center of the square comes into view. The crowd has formed a circle, cheering loudly.
The self-proclaimed Hero at the center places a fist over her chest and declares in a clear voice.
We will slay the Demon King. We will become the hope of this city—no, of this world!
