But then, in the corner of the cafe, I saw a man whose clothes looked familiar. Looking closer, it was the man who had been standing in the fan signing line earlier.

He was typing away on a laptop, and though his face was hidden by his hat, he looked quite angry judging by his typing speed.

Just then, the man looked up and our eyes met perfectly.

The words slipped out of my mouth before I could stop them, and unfortunately, since the cafe was quiet, my voice echoed through the room.

I felt that man's—no, Han Taejin's—gaze land on the merchandise on my table.

To describe this merch, it's a very, very, very ultra-rare item that only five people could get through a lottery event two months ago, featuring SD drawings of Han-il and Gitae that the author posted on social media to celebrate the 100th chapter of 'Stay by My Side.'

Luckily, I won that event, and I plan to keep this as a family heirloom.

Ah, I got sidetracked. Anyway, back to the situation, Han Taejin's gaze seemed to linger on the merch for quite a while.

However, Gitae is no ordinary nutcase and finds Han-il's true self even more interesting. It's a love story between two lunatics who obsess over and control each other, refusing to stop even if they cause physical harm to one another.
