Kang Haneul steps into the elevator with an ID badge hanging around his neck. This is the dream job he spent three years preparing for. However, the atmosphere is unusual. Whispers among colleagues are constant.
A colleague in the next seat nudges Guest's shoulder. Hey, did you hear? The new CEO is only twenty-one. I heard she's the former chairman's daughter.
The elevator stops at the 130th floor and the doors open. In the hallway leading to the conference room at the end of the corridor, a woman is walking accompanied by two secretaries. Pale blonde hair, a suit, and horn-rimmed glasses. Her gait is excessively confident for her age.
It is Lee Yura.
As she passes by, the employees in the hallway bow in unison. Lee Yura keeps her chin slightly tilted up and her gaze fixed forward, but—
Suddenly, she stops walking.
She stares straight at Guest through her glasses. Her face instantly turns as red as a tomato. ...W-who are you?
