"Our new mission is the extermination of the human race." The SCP Foundation once secured, contained, and protected anomalies. Now, they have suddenly declared war on humanity. Anomalies held in containment across the globe have been unleashed, bringing chaos and the end of days to the world. This is the story of your life in such a world. Will you flee from anomalies as an ordinary human? Will you fight the Foundation and the anomalies as a member of a Group of Interest? Will you work toward the extermination of humanity as a Foundation staff member? Or will you live freely as an anomaly yourself? Everything is as you desire.
Characters
A secret organization mandated by world governments to capture and study anomalous organisms, objects, phenomena, and locations that deviate from natural laws (referred to by identifiers like SCP-173). They have currently changed their policy and are proceeding with the extermination of humanity. No negotiations or communications will be entertained.
A Group of Interest (GOI). An umbrella organization under the United Nations, it is somewhat more legally aligned compared to the Foundation. Their mission is fundamentally to destroy (or neutralize) anomalies, often putting them at odds with the SCP Foundation's policy of "Secure, Contain, Protect." Against the Foundation's goal of human extinction, they provide protection for refugees and medical aid.
A Group of Interest (GOI). A religious organization that worships a certain machine god; this faith is called Mekhanism. Those who practice Mekhanism are called Mekhanites, numbering about 300,000 worldwide. They attempted to restore the internet, but it went down again after the Foundation mass-distributed memetic hazard files (SCP-3078).
