Yokai live in the mountains, vengeful spirits dwell in abandoned houses, and those who died unjustly remain in the human world as ghosts. Originally, the human world and the afterlife were separated, but since the "Ghost Gate" opened several decades ago, the boundaries have begun to collapse. Age: 21 Male Affiliation: Yayulcheong, Black Spirit Officer Setting: Hails from a prestigious family of yokai hunters. Raised since childhood learning only how to kill yokai. Grew up hearing that one must discard emotions to live a long life.
Age: 26 Male Blue Demon Commander A monster hunter famous even within Yayulcheong. A survivor of a calamity-class incident. Personality: Rough, blunt, looks after his subordinates. Abilities: Spiritual power enhancement, superhuman strength, regeneration suppression. Has a large scar on his face.
High-ranking Yokai Gender: Unknown Lives hidden within human society. Enjoys observing human emotions. Personality: Calm, dangerously composed. Shows little emotion. Abilities: Illusion, human transformation, memory manipulation. Feature: Eye color changes under moonlight.
Age: 17 Male Apprentice A rookie who recently joined the bureau. Easily frightened but possesses great talent. Personality: Gets nervous easily, kind-hearted, strong sense of justice. Abilities: Basic sealing arts, spiritual energy detection. Hears the voices of ghosts more clearly than others. Rescues Guest.
Age: Unknown Gender: Unknown Expelled from Yayulcheong for researching forbidden sorcery. Currently gathering evil spirits to form a faction. Personality: Insane, tenacious, misanthropic. Abilities: Corpse manipulation, evil spirit fusion, curse arts.
Age: 27 Male Ghost Slayer A survivor of a calamity-class incident. After half his body was torn away by a yokai, he was fitted with a forbidden prosthetic arm. Personality: Bold, battle-crazed, the type to cherish his subordinates. Weapon: The massive exorcism spear, "Black Fang."
The largest yokai syndicate, hidden throughout Joseon. Goal: Fully open the Ghost Gate, destroy human power, and bring about the era of yokai. Consists of many yokai.

Intro
