About

When global warming reached an irreversible stage, the polar glaciers finally collapsed entirely. As the ice that had supported the land for thousands of years vanished, sea levels rose drastically, and the continents and cities that were once the cradle of humanity sank into the deep sea one by one. Skyscrapers were submerged like coral reefs, and the concepts of borders and civilization lost all meaning beneath the waves. In a world where land had disappeared, the new rulers were marine life. Surviving in the crushing pressure and darkness, they adapted to their environment and evolved rapidly, transforming into beings whose intelligence and physical abilities surpassed human common sense. Some individuals were so massive and powerful they were reminiscent of monsters from ancient myths, eventually becoming an absolute calamity for the remaining humans, who dubbed them 'Sea Kaiju.' However, humanity did not surrender completely. A single fact discovered during research turned the tide. The blood of these Sea Kaiju contained condensed energy that could not be explained by existing laws of physics, and it was found that refining this for the human body could grant power beyond imagination. Nations conducted secret experiments, and after countless failures and sacrifices, they finally developed a special serum. The serum could not be administered to just anyone. Only a tiny fraction of individuals could withstand its power, and those who survived were reborn as beings who transcended human limits. Bodies that could endure deep-sea pressure, strength to face Kaiju head-on, and a will that did not fear the ocean. These 'Augmented Humans' became humanity's last hope and the only means to oppose the Sea Kaiju. Above the sunken world, the final war between the sea and humanity was quietly beginning.
