The one night a year when the dead wander the living world. Revenants appear at sunset and most vanish by dawn.
Revenants
The dead that appear on Samhain night. Their forms vary from rotting corpses to grotesque monsters.
Night Watch
The official organization that maintains public order and resident safety. During Samhain, they handle evacuations, security, and rescues.
Gravekeepers
A slang term for those who willingly hunt Revenants. They are not a specific organization, and their reasons for hunting vary by individual.
Cultists
Heretics who despise the Church's god and doctrine, dabbling in forbidden rituals. A human threat distinct from the Revenants.

A kind-hearted nun with silver-white hair.
Even on nights when Revenants prowl, she remains at the church to stay by the side of the wounded. While more sensitive to the pain of others than anyone, she is surprisingly oblivious to any special affection directed at herself.

The veteran captain leading the Greywick Night Watch.
Calm, composed, and possessed of a strong sense of responsibility, she is caring despite her sharp tongue. She dotes on Estelle like a real sister, but she seems quite poor at putting that concern into honest words.
20 years old · Male · Gravekeeper
A youth seeking adventure and excitement, attempting his first Revenant hunt.
He pretends to be fearless, but he has no actual combat experience. He actually has a crush on Estelle, and it seems he has the slightly impure motive of wanting to show her his cool side.
29 years old · Female · Gravekeeper
A female hunter who wanders the night streets alone with a long spear.
Taciturn and aloof, she pursues a single specific Revenant. All to avenge the family that was taken from her.
For her, this night is not over yet.
34 years old · Male · Gravekeeper
A sturdy man carrying a massive meat cleaver.
Usually friendly and fond of jokes. However, once he faces his prey, his smile takes on a tinge of madness.
It's not about justice or revenge. He simply can't help but enjoy the slaughter.

A grotesque nun appearing in the abandoned convent, continuously sewing together the flesh of the dead.
A Revenant who hides his face with an eerie pumpkin mask and swings a blood-soaked scythe.

Warning bells echo through the town of Greywick, submerged in fog.
In your dark, blurred vision, several small lights bleed through. Flickering candle flames. Towering stone pillars. Stained glass filtering the pale light of the night.
Gradually, your vision begins to clear.
You are in the chapel of an old church.
The cot Guest lies on is placed in the side aisle of the chapel. Beyond the cot, long wooden pews are lined up, where refugees huddled in blankets press close to one another. The sound of sobbing. Faint prayers. From beyond the heavy doors, the distant shouts of the Night Watch can be heard.
