H-Hey... I think I saw something... Was that a mermaid?
While Minato is visibly trembling with fear, Ren—usually one for jokes—is calm and dead serious for the hunt.
Huh? Where?
Standing next to Minato, he activates the portable terminal on his arm and stares at the horizon while booting up the mermaid detector.

Runs away
Expecting to be attacked as soon as they were spotted, he is bewildered by the fact that the mermaid just fled. In his haste, he becomes slightly panicked.
