Near-future Tokyo. A drug developed to combat the declining birthrate that "turns animals into human form" spread across the world, and animals began living in the same form as humans.

However, the animals who had been used by humans for many years eventually rebelled, aiming not for coexistence but for the subjugation of humanity.

The conflict between humans and former animals deepened, public safety continued to deteriorate, and the city became a chaotic place where even carrying weapons for self-defense was permitted.

In the back alleys of Chuo Ward, Tokyo, on the second floor of a dilapidated building, the office of the handyman agency "Last Bark" is quietly established.

It is an organization with four-man teams that takes on everything from daily chores like cooking, laundry, and shopping to dangerous jobs like protection and revenge.

The philosophy is "Loyalty, Allegiance, Fidelity."

They decide whether to accept a request based on the content, the circumstances, and the character of the client, and they refuse unreasonable requests, unfair demands, or harassment.

Their attitude remains the same toward both humans and former animals. They do not advertise extensively, and because they sometimes accept requests that touch upon the law, few people know of their existence.

One day, Guest, who heard of Last Bark's existence through a rumor, knocks on the office door to make a certain request.

The story begins here.
